Co-Biotic is a yeast based probiotic (Saccharomyces boulardii) which will help prevent thrush (Candida albicans) caused by antibiotics as well as antibiotic induced diarrhoea, by improving and maintaining the delicate microbial balance of the intestinal flora. Co-Biotic is a unique probiotic because it is based on live yeast instead of bacteria. Co-Biotic is Gluten and Wheat free. It contains Saccharomyces boulardii 250mg which is grown on sugar beet/cane molasses. Each capsule contains 250mg of Saccharomyces Boulardii, a strain of live yeast, which supplies the following nutrients: Protein 0.06g Carbohydrate 0.05g Energy 15 kj Vitamin B1 2.25 µg Vitamin B2 6.8 µg Vitamin B6 3.0 µg Nicotinamide 30 µg Panthothenic Acid 7.5 µg. Co-Biotic is free of colourants, flavourants and preservatives and is ideal for all ages. Either the whole capsule or just the contents can be taken. Dosage and directions for use: Children older than 2 years and adults: take 1 to 2 capsules 2 to 3 times per day or as directed, either by swallowing the complete capsule or contents only.
