Paul and the children are warned about these evil intentions by Haami, a half-brother of Paul. Together with Jerogi, Haami's grandson, with whom Andre, Dirk and Jaqueline have established a close relationship, they succeed in preventing a war with the Kikuyu, but not without real danger to their lives.
