At Foundation level Workbooks 1-4 follow a clear development of skills helping to make lesson planning straightforward. The clear logical approach is designed to help children develop the fine motor control and hand-eye co-ordination skills necessary for forming letters. This title features simple self-assessment 'fox face' rating (i.e. smiling fox = good) to encourage children to evaluate their own work. Workbooks 5 and 6 provide an alternative option for Y1/P2 pupils not yet ready to progress to a handwriting textbook. Phonic and spelling links are also provided.
