The New Bridge to English Grade 4 Learner's Book contains Maggie the Magic snake as a reading text at the back of the book. New Bridge to English Grade 5 consolidates language, things and learning skills as learners move closer to accurate use of language. In this grade, there is a focus on language across the curriculum. New Bridge to English Grade 6 emphasises the development of skills needed for successful learning in the Senior Phase, including writing skills, summarising, mind mapping, collecting and recording information, sequencing and analysing.
