Modern reimagining of the traditional French fairy tale starring Kristin Kreuk and Jay Ryan. After a seemingly unmotivated attack left her mother dead and herself in grave danger ten years previously, Cat Chandler (Kreuk) now works as a New York City police detective where she continues the investigation. When a number of cases begin showing a connection to her mother's death, evidence found at the crime scenes lead her to Vincent Keller (Ryan), a man long believed to be dead. Through talking to Vincent it becomes apparent that he was responsible for saving Cat's life on that fateful night. But what is Vincent's connection to her mother and the men who killed her?
