As the youngest son of a wine farmer, Luke (Marno van der Merwe) feels trapped in a world in which his father (Chris de Clerq) and older brother (Rowan Cloete) seem to feel at home. He yearns to live the high life of a stock trader in the big city, but to do so he needs money. He manages to get half of his inheritance from his father and leave for the big city. Unbeknownst to him, he sets off on a dangerous path that will change him forever. Will he be able to find his way, or will he be eternally lost.
