American animation in which a gentle, friendly pet bull named Ferdinand (voice of John Cena) is torn from his family home and taken to an arena to be trained as a matador-fighting spectacle. Ferdinand struggles to adapt to his new home and feels out of his depth when he is encouraged to be violent for the purposes of entertainment.
