The curtain comes down on the popular musical comedy-drama as it ends a six-season run with a finale that looks at how the original teen singers found their way to the glee club, and then flashes forward five years to see where life has taken them. Before that momentous episode, there was plenty more to deal with as Rachel (Lea Michele) returns from New York City only to discover that Sue (Jane Lynch) has banished arts from the high school. Rachel teams with Kurt (Chris Colfer) and they throw themselves into rebuilding the glee club at McKinley and, of course, tussle with Sue at every inopportune turn. When Homecoming rolls around, alums Puck (Mark Salling), Quinn (Dianna Agron), Santana (Naya Rivera), Artie Kevin McHale), Mercedes (Amber Riley), Brittany (Heather Morris)and Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) return to school and pitch in to help Rachel recruit members for the resurrected glee club. However, the lure of Broadway beckons Rachel and she pulls out all stops to convince Carmen Tibideaux (Whoppi Goldberg) to allow her to return to NYADA.
