Triple bill of classic film dramas. 'A Night to Remember' (1958) is based on Walter Lord's book about the sinking of the Titanic in 1912. Made in a semi-documentary style, this film offers an honest account of the terrible disaster, and features cameos by stars including Kenneth More, Honor Blackman and David McCallum. In 'The Red Shoes' (1948), ballet impresario Boris Lermontov (Anton Walbrook) hires up-and-coming ballerina Victoria Page (Moira Shearer) and talented young composer Julian Craster (Marius Goring) to work with him on a new ballet, an adaptation of the Hans Christian Andersen story 'The Red Shoes'. The show is a great success and Victoria and Julian fall in love. But Boris is jealous and makes moves to spoil their happiness. In 'Caesar and Cleopatra' (1945), Vivien Leigh and Claude Rains star in a lavish technicolour production based on George Bernard Shaw's play about the Queen of the Nile's love affair with Roman emperor Julius Caesar.
