A double-bill of US family comedies. In 'Tooth Fairy' (2010) Derek Thompson (Dwayne Johnson) is a hard-hitting hockey player nicknamed 'The Tooth Fairy' due to his reputation of knocking his opponents' teeth out. When Derek insults a young fan, he's sentenced to three weeks' hard labour as a real tooth fairy. He must dress himself in traditional tooth fairy attire, including a tutu, wings and magic wand, and carry out all the customary tooth fairy tasks. Initially disillusioned with his new vocation, Derek soon begins to adapt to his new job. In the sequel, 'Tooth Fairy 2' (2012), after losing his first love, Brooke (Erin Beute), to a local rival, Larry Guthrie (Larry the Cable Guy) tries to win her back by helping out at the after-school class she runs. But when he accidentally tells a small boy that tooth fairies don't exist, he quickly finds himself 'sentenced' to become his neighborhood's pink, tutu-clad tooth fairy.
